Working in the U.S. on an employment visa? Volkswagen Credit’s program lets many professionals lease or finance a Volkswagen at Platinum Volkswagen without a U.S. credit file — if existing credit is clean and income meets the floor.
Eligibility
- Foreign business professional on a U.S. employment visa
- Minimum $45,000 per year
- U.S. credit history is not required
- Any existing credit must be in good standing — no derogatory history
Volkswagen Credit underwrites. We submit the file; we don’t approve it.
Finance
Own it. No mileage cap, no lease-end wear bill. New or pre-owned, subject to the program and the unit.
What to bring
- U.S. Social Security card
- Letter from employer: position, hire date, income, and length of stay in the U.S.
- Proof of address and phone
- Copy of U.S. employment visa with expiration date
- Contact information for two U.S. residents as personal references
